8. Volunteering
Beccles Rugby Club is ran by a team of volunteers, who give up their time to help run all areas of the club from:
Coaches
First Aiders
Team Managers
Kitchen Staff / Cooks
etc.....

Any member of the Club or Organisation, who is seeking to work/volunteer in a role where they will have contact with children (persons under 18 years of age) or “Adults at Risk”.* will need to complete our Volunteer Application form:
If applying for a Coaching role you will need to complete our Coaches code of conduct form which can be found in section 5.
All volunteers must be DBS checked via the RFU DBS System Before we can carry out the DBS Check, you are required to complete the Online Safeguarding Course & Headcase Course On the RFU GMS System:
Please see attached guide for how to find and sign up for the free courses.
Once the course are completed we will be required to confirm your Identity using the ID listed in the attached PDF
This will require us to physically see your ID and a member of our Safeguarding Team will contact you to do this.
