With the Beccles pitches unplayable this fixture was reversed to be played at Norwich.

Under 7's, we had a great day over in Norwich this morning. Had loads of fun playing games with the opposition before getting into the matches.
Thanks for everybody who made the trip today, they did well albeit lacking attention, but that didn't stop periods of good rugby. Congratulations to Connor who stood out today as player of the match for very positive running and on numerous occasions giving his team mates perfect passes for them to score. Well done all!
The entire Beccles U9s squad took part in a marvellous days rugby at Norwich this week. Beccles were very grateful to Norwich for hosting the fixture as the pitches in Beccles were badly affected by the recent heavy rain. Two sides from each club played a mini tournament with some extremely close matches. Yet again strong tackling from the likes of Charlie Banger , Dexter Limpenny and Max Strafford kept the opposition on the back foot. Direct running from Ben Harper, Toby Mobbs and Jack Bentham saw the heart of the Norwich defence tested time and time again and created the overlaps that Jack Linnell-Morton and Charlie B exploited to the full. We are looking forward to our upcoming local derby with Southwold on 31st Jan which promises high emotions and a feast of high quality rugby.
Well done under 9's! Super team effort.
Leading from the back with some big tackles was Thomas and Oliver with Zak and James helping to slow the attackers down! Cameron with some awesome running lines and Harry always in space ready for the pass and scoring a couple of tries. Joe waiting patiently and scoring his first try in a game. The Man of the match, Riley, was everywhere and the first one to the break down. Playing the scrum half and tackling four players on the bounce, forcing the turn over and selflessly off loading the ball to create tries for others. Happy coaches!! WELL DONE ALL
Well done to all of the under 11s who travelled to Norwich RFC today. A great performance throughout the whole team against a tough Norwich side. An impressive defensive line with some big hits coming in, unsettling the opponents which resulted in turn over balls. The team showed some fluent passing and direct running which rewarded them with several tries. A good team effort from all which made the decision for man of the match incredibly difficult. This weeks award goes to Ben for a gritty defensive performance. Well done all and thank you parents for your support and for travelling away at such short notice! Next week is training at home.
