Beccles were able to field a strong team for this game. There were debuts for Norman and Crawford-Sharpe. There was also a return for the experienced John Payne in the centre. Thanks go to the two Lakenham players who made up the numbers.
Beccles scored six tries during the game. Captain Jake Taylor scored with Taylor senior also adding a try of his own. There were two tries for Armstrong and one for Girling. Two conversions were added by the boot of Fenn. Man of the match on debut was Norman.
With fielding a 2nd team regularly one of the main aims of the club this season it was good to have both teams on the pitch on the same day. Numbers are looking good across the section and this performance gives the team something to build on. Their next game is away at Wymondham 3s on 13th November.
